If you want to gain skills in horticulture or landscaping, this Introduction to Horticulture course is for you as part of the programme you will gain a National Progression award and an SVQ Level 1 certificate in Horticulture. The course provides a mix of theoretical and practical skills with the emphasis on practical horticulture and landscaping.

Units include: An Introduction to Gardening Skills; An Introduction to Tools and Machinery; An Introduction to Turf Maintenance; Prepare, Create and Maintain a Landscape Area; Hard and Soft Landscaping; Plant Identification; Plant Health and Propagation.

No formal entry requirements. Interview and aptitude test.
