This HND Horticulture course will provide you with the skills and knowledge essential for a career in horticulture and landscaping. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in plant identification, propagation, soil management and enhance existing practical skills in soft and hard landscaping.

Delivered in purpose-built classrooms, workshops and glasshouses, this course will provide an exceptional learning environment to support progression to further study or a career in horticulture and landscaping.

Units include: Plant Knowledge – Identification and Use; Pests, Diseases and Plant Disorders; Plant Biology and Soil Management; Practical Horticultural Skills including soft and hard landscaping; Producing Plants; Machinery for Horticulture; Business Start-up.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Basic computing skills are necessary.
