Content

Course content includes:

Game and Wildlife Management; Game Bird Management; Sustainable Deer Management; Wildlife Legislation; Workplace Practice; Public Relations; Manage Game Sporting Activities; Working Dogs and Graded Unit.

The attendance will be 5 days for 3 weeks in College and 5 days for 3 weeks on placement over 36 weeks.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers or NC Gamekeeping and Wildlife Management (Level 6). Should have relevant industrial experience.

Progression Routes

Progression may be possible to higher-level courses at other Agricultural Colleges. Careers as Underkeeper, Water Bailiff, Under Stalker or Forest Ranger.
