This course is aimed at students who wish to develop skills in hard landscaping. The course is practical with some academic study to build a basic understanding of techniques and theory behind the subject. Essential Skills units are valuable for students who'll put lessons learned into practice in sales, recording, marketing and other areas.

Entry Requirements

NC Introduction to Horticulture (Level 4). Applicants with other relevant experience and a genuine interest in the industry will be considered. Reading, writing and numeracy skills essential along with qualifications that show that can work at SCQF Level 5.

Progression Routes

City and Guilds Diploma in Horticulture. Possible self-employment.
