This full time course provides an overview of the Agriculture industry with a focus on new and emerging technologies, for example the use of satellite and GPS systems; the collection, management, and use of data and metadata to improve efficiency; and the importance of diversification within the farming sector. It develops knowledge and understanding of modern agriculture and how it influences practices in the learner’s local area. Learners also develop skills in health and safety, estate maintenance, care and handling of livestock and working with farm machinery.
