Throughout this course, you will develop skills and knowledge in forestry or urban forestry. This course offers the opportunity to specialise in Forestry or Urban Forestry.
Some of the topics are Forest Sciences, Forest Operations, Woodland Conservation, Silvicultural systems, Forest and Tree Ecology. You will gain experience working on Mensuration and Geographical Information systems, while developing an awareness of health and safety and environmental issues relevant to modern forestry.
Content includes: Arboricultural Operations; Nursery Production; Forest Science; Management of Machinery; Amenity Tree Management.
