Content

This course is specifically designed for you if you already have a knowledge of counselling. It provides you with the skills, theoretical knowledge, and personal development required to use counselling skills with people in a range of settings.

This can be a very demanding course and you will need to assess realistically your ability to develop academic skills, practical counselling skills, and learning comprehensive counselling theory.

You will study: Relationship centred counselling 1–3; Counselling theories; Personal development in a counselling skills setting; Loss and grief in a counselling setting; Counselling supervision.

Entry Requirements

2 relevant Highers or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and pre-entry test.
