This course is designed to channel your passion and experience of working and volunteering in the community. Working with Communities SCQF Level 6 will give you an industry recognised qualification in community learning development and will improve both your professional and academic skills. During this course you will study a range of subjects as well as complete a work placement.

You will study:
Youth Work; Adult Education; Rights and Responsibilities; Sociology; Principles of Community; Learning and Development; Equality and Diversity; Planning a Residential; Group Work.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.

You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
