Content

Throughout the course you will develop the competencies required by a Golf Course Manager and a sound knowledge of greenkeeping practice.

This will be complemented by the knowledge, skills and understanding needed for the effective administration of human, physical, biological and financial resources in the golf course environment.

Content includes: Design and Construction of Golf Course Features; History and Development of Golf; Management of Turf Areas on Golf Course; Preparation and Management of Golf Course Budgets and Supervision and Management.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers at CC plus English and Maths at National 5; or NC Greenkeeping; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
