This leading BA (Hons) Child and Youth Studies degree will give you a rigorous understanding of the specific concerns associated with child and youth issues in this region within the broader context of the UK and Europe.

The course is taught wholly online via UHI’s virtual learning environment (VLE) and you will be supported locally by your personal academic tutor face-to-face, via email, telephone and online, which means that you can fit your studies around your personal and professional commitments.

Entry Requirements

3 Highers; or Foundation Apprenticeship Social Services (Children and Young People) plus 1 Higher. You are required to attend for interview in person or by telephone.

You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.

Progression Routes

MA Health and Wellbeing; PGDE (Primary) - you will also need Higher English and National 5 Maths, or equivalent.
