If you want to work under supervision in childcare, this course will provide you with the knowledge and understanding you need. You will learn the relevant concepts, theories, principles and practical skills along with a work placement ensuring you have valuable transferable skills to shine in the workplace.

You’ll study: Child Development Theory; Services for Children and Young People; Care and Feeding of Children; Play in Early Education Practice; Supporting Children’s behaviour.

Entry Requirements

5 subjects at National 5 including English, or NQ Child, Health and Social Care, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
