This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge for working in care and the social services. You'll be taught by experienced staff, including social workers and social science practitioners, and have the chance of work experience with organisations such as South Lanarkshire Council, Blue Triangle, Salvation Army and third sector charities. This gives you the chance to develop your skills in the care field and to relate theory to practice.
2 Highers including English; or 1 Higher plus Foundation Apprenticeship Social Services and Healthcare; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Subject to successful interview. You should be 18 at commencement of course.
