This is a level 4/5 entry course into Social Sciences which includes the National Progression Award in Psychology. As well as studying Social Sciences, students will learn essential academic, personal and employability skills.

You'll learn about:

Crime scenes; Communication; Psychology; Modern studies; Preparing to volunteer; Personal development.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4. Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

Introduction to Social Sciences leads on to the ON TRACK with Social Sciences course that runs from January to June. This is also an 18 week course which enables students to complete an entire NC level 5 in Social Sciences.

The two courses then lead on to the NC Social Sciences Level 6 which is a higher level course and prepared students to apply for university or HNC Social Sciences.
