This National Qualification in Childhood Practice is most suitable for school leavers and mature students who are interested in promoting the learning and development of children, aged 2-5 years as a career.

This stimulating course provides students with the opportunity to study subjects related to childcare and development at Higher level. You will enjoy a mixed course of theory and practice both in college and in a placement.

Students can choose either a vocational or an academic route, depending on current entry qualifications, prior experience and expected progression.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 5 including English.
