Learners will develop a range of skills that will enhance employability; focus; teamwork; communication; confidence; and aptitude in the care area.
This course does not have formal entry requirements. During the interview, applicants will complete a written task focused on care, and they should demonstrate a genuine interest in the subject.
Successful completion of this course will enable learners to apply to areas in Children and Young People and Health and Social Care. However, they will not be eligible to apply for another Gateway Course.
