This course will help you develop your skills and understanding of working with children. It’s a great introduction to all aspects of early learning and childcare, offering a mixture of theory and practical activities including child development, play, families and collaborating with others. You’ll build your knowledge, have fun, and start your journey towards becoming a registered practitioner.

Entry Requirements

3 subjects at National 4 including English. You may be required to attend an interview.

Progression Routes

If you successfully complete this course, you are guaranteed an interview for progression onto a Level 5 Care course in your preferred vocational area at Glasgow Clyde College.
