This HNC may interest candidates who are currently working or wish to work as a paralegal or pursue a career within the legal sector. This course is also ideal if you want to progress to University to study law after completing an HNC qualification.

The course may be delivered using a blended learning model. This involves in-class lessons and some classes may be delivered online. You should have access to a PC, Desktop Computer or tablet.

What you will learn:

Scottish legal system; Scots private law; Commercial law; Legal research techniques; Scottish criminal law; Scottish criminal procedure; Property law; Consumer law.

Entry Requirements

2 relevant Highers plus 4 relevant subjects at National 5 including English and Maths. Or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. You may be required to attend a group and/or individual interview and/or a skills check.
