This programme is designed to lead directly from College to employment or to gain sufficient qualifications which will lead to a level 6 programme in this area the following year. It aims to prepare you for a career in Health and Social Care in by providing some practical work in our Care Hub and some theory work.

Course content:

Practical skills in our Care Hub; Skills for Work Health Sector at National 5; Prevention of Infection; Healthy Eating; First Aid.

Entry Requirements

5 subjects at National 4 including English and Maths.

You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
