Learners will develop their skill set utilising the department’s state-of-the-art facilities and will collaborate with students from BA Sound Production and BA Music Performance across our main campuses. Students will embark on practical industry-facing and market-facing projects and will engage with theoretical learning and research projects based on current industry needs. Modules include Marketing Music: Principles, Practice and Psychology and New Music Media, with various optional modules to suit your individual career plan.

This course is ideal for candidates interested in pursuing a career in any area of the music industry, including but not limited to:

Marketing and PR; Live sector careers such as booking, promotion and tour management; Digital distribution and record label operations; Music publishing; Royalty and collection societies; Music journalism; Academia; Community music and education.

Entry Requirements

HND Music Business, or other relevant HND.

Progression Routes

This course prepares you for a career within the Music Industries or various postgraduate-level university courses throughout the UK.
