The perfect mix of psychology, criminal investigation and forensic science.

Discover the psychology surrounding crime scenes, and how forensic evidence is processed, interpreted, and preserved. You'll go on field trips to places like the mortuary and bomb disposal sites. Applying forensic psychology to police investigations, you'll learn how to provide evidence which may be used in the criminal justice system. You'll graduate with a strong set of interpersonal skills.

The accreditation by the British Psychological Society (BPS) is essential if you want to become a Chartered Psychologist. It means successful graduates can apply for further professional training. This degree also received educational recognition from The Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences (CSFS).

Standard entry: 4 Highers at BBBC English and Maths at National 5 (Applications of Maths at B accepted).

Widening access entry: 3 Highers at BBC plus English and Maths at National 5 (Applications of Maths at B accepted).

For entry to second year, you must have 3 Advanced Highers at AAB including one from English, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, History, Modern Studies or Physics.
