If you're keen to work for the police, you'll have the option to apply to be a special constable. This hands-on work experience puts you in a great position to join them if that's your plan after graduating.

Entry Requirements

2027 entry requirements

Standard entry: 4 Highers at BBBC plus National 5 English and National 4 Maths or National 5 Biology, Chemistry or Physics.

Widening access entry: 3 Highers at BBC plus National 5 English and National 4 Maths or National 5 Biology, Chemistry or Physics.

For entry to second year, you must have 3 Advanced Highers at ABB including English or another English based subject and History or Modern Studies.
