This course is aimed at adults who have some life experience and whose objective is to progress onto further study at Glasgow Kelvin College on HNC Social Services (Care) and then university BA Social Work.
Subjects Include:
Care: Values and Principles; Care: Social Influences; Care: Human Development and Behaviour; Child Protection; Health, Safety and Protection Issues in Care Settings; Philosophy; Mental Health and Mental Illness; Criminology; Families; Counselling; Loss and Grief; Communications Level 5 and 6; Numeracy.
No formal entry requirements, applicants will be assessed through their personal statement.
