This course combines the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required with a work placement, allowing you to take learning from the classroom into the professional world. Areas of study within the programme include -
Mental Health; Dementia Care; Substance Misuse; Data skills; Human development; Professional development; Communication Skills; Work Experience.
The January start course will include:
Caring for people with dementia; Work placement; Communication; Sustance use and misuse; Care values and principles.
4 subjects at National 5 including English, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
