The fashion industry is exciting and always evolving and this course is designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge required for a career within a fashion business environment.

The units studied include: Fashion Merchandising; Business Management; Public Relations: Principles and Practice; Textile Technology; Retail Buying; Fashion Forecasting; Range Planning.

Learners will also develop their digital skills which will help them present range plans and mood boards.

Learners will also help plan and organise the College Fashion Show enabling them to work with the college's industry partners.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. You will also be required to attend an interview.

Progression Routes

On successful completion, learners may gain employment or enhance their careers within a fashion business environment, start their own business or gain entry to a fashion-related degree at universities throughout Scotland.
