This is an exciting programme leading to further study at HNC level. The course will be classroom based. Attention to detail, a thirst for learning, and a desire to work with older adults to enable independence will be essential for those who apply for this programme.You will gain insight into why it is important to meet needs, theories around behaviour and society.

Units include:
human development and behaviour; social influences; English; numeracy; values and principles; resilience; understanding mental illness; social services.

Your core skills will be embedded within the units you will study.

4 relevant subjects at National 5 at B, English and Maths preferred, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5.
