If you would like to work in the Care sector, this course could be ideal for you as it will provide you with an employment based award, which can be registered with the SSSC.

Subjects covered will include:
First aid; Moving and handling; Health and safety; Health, safety and protection; Communication within a care environment; Core skills such as Communications, ICT and Numeracy.

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 5 including English. Previous experience in working in care may be an advantage.

You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
