This course is for learners who have an interest in Early Learning and Childcare. This introductory course develops the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed for work in the early learning and childcare sector. The course covers areas including the Development and Wellbeing of Children and Young People, Practice of Play and Care and Feeding of Children.

You'll learn about:
Child Development; Children and Young People's Rights and Protection; Supporting children with additional Support Needs; Working with Others.

There may be an opportunity to engage with a work place while studying this course

Entry Requirements

Skills for Work Child Care at SCQF Level 4 or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Entry subject to interview.
