This course is suitable for those returning to study or those leaving school who have no previous experience in studying or working in Care.

Content:
Values in Care; Psychology for Care; Sociology for Care; Maintaining Safety in a Care Setting; Healthy Eating in a Care Setting; Prevention of Infection; Older Adult in need of Care; First Aid; Core Skills such as Communications, IT and Numeracy.

Entry Requirements

English and Care at National 4. Previous experience in working in Care may be an advantage; all applicants must demonstrate the personal values and qualities that are suited to Care work.
