You’ll learn about human development, social influences, and the importance of compassion, communication, and respect when working with others.
Content:
Values and Principles in Care; Human development and behaviour; Social influences; Child protection; Introduction to mental health; Skills for work in health; Core Skills such as Communications, IT and Numeracy.
National 4 Care; or 3 subjects at National 4 including English; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview. Previous experience in working in Care may be an advantage; all applicants must demonstrate the personal values and qualities that are suited to Care work.
