You’ll explore who needs care, where care is provided, and your responsibilities as a care worker across a range of settings — from hospitals and care homes to community support environments.

Values and Principles; Human Development and Behaviour; Social Influences; Understanding Mental Health and Mental Illness; Caring for People with Dementia; Health, Safety and Protection Issues; The Human Body; First Aid; HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C Infections; Understanding the Needs of the Older Person; Working in Health and Social Care Settings; Communication and Numeracy; Working with Others.
3 subjects at National 5 including English; or NQ Health and Social Care (Level 5). Entry based on experience, written exercise and interview.
