Content

This course is specifically designed for you if you already have a knowledge of counselling. It provides you with the skills, theoretical knowledge, and personal development required to use counselling skills with people in a range of settings.

This is a very demanding course and you will need to assess realistically your ability to cope with these demands. If you are accepted on this course you will receive the full support of tutors, and access to personal counselling services can be arranged.

You will study: Relationship centred counselling 1–3; Counselling theories; Personal development in a counselling skills setting; Loss and grief in a counselling setting; Counselling supervision.

Entry Requirements

2 relevant Highers or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and pre-entry test.
