This course provides the skills, knowledge and experience to develop a career within the Social Care sector. There is a mandatory work placement element with the requirement to complete SVQ level 3 units.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers, plus paid or voluntary experience in a care setting. Or Advanced Certificate in Health and Social Care, or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Entry is subject to one satisfactory reference.

You will require a satisfactory criminal record check from Disclosure Scotland to show that you are suitable for this type of course. Contact Disclosure Scotland for details on the type you would need.
