This course aims to offer a comprehensive foundation in health and social care from children to older adults through a blend of theoretical instruction and practical placement. Designed at level 5/6, it facilitates progression to either employment or further education. The course serves as a springboard for launching your career in the health and social care sector.
2 subjects at National 5 including English plus 1 at National 4 in a science subject; or Health and Social Care (Level 4/5). Interview.

Successful students can progress to Higher Social Care, Higher Health Care or NC Early Education and Childcare courses. Career opportunities in the social, health and child care fields such as a Care Assistant or Playgroup Assistant.
