The subject areas include Leadership Starts with Me, Care in a Contemporary Society, Health, Wellbeing and Safeguarding, and Support for Play, Learning and Development. Students carry out a substantial part of this course in an actual childcare setting. Work placement is necessary to complete the full award.
2 Highers including English, or Foundation Apprenticeship Social Services and Healthcare or Social Services (Children and Young People), or NC Early Education and Childcare (Level 6) or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
