This course allows you to explore two exciting disciplines in one course, giving you multidimensional problem-solving skills and a good understanding of the core principles of electrical and mechanical engineering. You will undertake a range of units including:
Communication core skill unit; Mathematics: Technician 1; Engineering: Applying information technology; Engineering materials; Graphical engineering communication; Electrical principles; Single and three-phase principles; Engineering systems; Engineering; Computer-aided draughting for engineers; Pneumatics and hydraulics; Programmable logic controllers; Engineering Dynamics: An introduction; Engineering Project.
3 subjects at National 5 including Maths and a science or technological subject.
