The University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) was created so that higher education could be available locally throughout the Highlands and Islands. It is based on a partnership of 12 colleges and research centres.

It received university status in February 2011, evolving from the higher education institution, the UHI Millennium Institute.

The university has some of the best online learning technologies meaning you can study many of the courses from home or work, anywhere in the world.

You can study at one of the 12 campuses throughout the Highlands and Islands where you will find some of the most stunning locations in the UK.

The campuses are:

• Highland Theological College UHI
• Orkney College UHI
• Perth College UHI
• Sabhal Mòr Ostaig
• Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) UHI
