You’ll learn the skills for working in an Accounting environment or progressing to the BAcc Accounting. You’ll learn about financial accounting and recording financial information. This course is recognised by professional Accounting bodies, such as the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT). You’ll learn through work placement, group work, lectures, industry visits and guest speakers.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher; or Foundation Apprenticeship in Financial Services; or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6; interview.

Progression Routes

Year 3 entry to Bachelor of Accounting Degree in partnership with the University of the West of Scotland. Direct entry to 3rd year Accounting Degrees at other universities.
