This course is designed to provide you with an excellent grounding in all aspects of accounting practice and business principles to prepare you for further study and the world of work.
Content covered includes financial accounting, management accounting, wages and salaries, recording financial transactions, preparing final accounts along with core skills and personal development units. A mandatory work placement is part of the course, giving you the chance to work in a real accounting-based business as part of your qualification.
National 4 Maths. Entry subject to interview and pre-entry test.
You can progress to SCQF Level 6 courses, or 7 courses such as HNC Accounting.
