This course introduces to the major concepts in games development. Students will use industry standard software (including Adobe suite, Unity and Unreal Engine). At Paisley, students get to work on a live game project with local primary schools.

The course introduces students to Games Programming; Creating Graphics for Games; Game Interface Design; 2D Animation for Games; Game Technology; 3D Level Editing.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher, preferably Maths or Computing Science; or NQ Computing with Games Development (Level 5); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5 or 6. Interview.
