This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and practical skills necessary for a successful future career in the fast paced and growing industry of events, conferences and festivals.

What you will learn:

This practical course will give you the skills to plan, organise and promote events. Here are some of the areas you will cover during your study:

Using Software Application packages; Events Budgeting; Marketing; Creating a Culture in Cusomer Care; Communication Skills; Events Principles and Practices; Organising an Event; Events Industry; Events Legislation; Food and Beveridge Events; Events: Graded Unit; Work Placement; and, Managing Human Rescourses in Hospitality.

Entry Requirements

Higher English or Business Management or another english based subject plus 3 subjects at National 5 including Maths and English, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview and group task.
