This MAcc in Accountancy Graduate Apprenticeship is a professionally orientated qualification delivered in partnership with Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), This course will enable successful candidates to exit with both a MAcc in Accountancy and Chartered Accountant status with ACCA.

Year 1
Financial and Management Accounting A; Management Issues and Concepts; Financial and Management Accounting B; Fundamentals of Economics; Accounting, Organisation and Society; Fundamentals of Risk Management.

Year 2
Fundamentals of Corporate Finance; Ethics and Responsible Leadership; Financial Accounting 2; Law in Business (for Accountants); Management Accounting 2; Intro to Quantitative Data Analysis.

Year 3
Audit; Taxation; Financial Accounting 3; Corporate Finance and Financial Strategies; Management Accounting 2; Research Methods in the Workplace.

Exit award: BA Accountancy (Degree Level) Exemption from ACCA Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills papers

Year 4
Work-based Honours Project; Ethics and Professional Skills; Corporate Governance; Advanced Financial Accounting

*Level 4 Optional Module (Choose one):

Taxation 2; Advanced Management Accounting; Strategic Financial Analysis

Exit award: BA (Hons) Accountancy

Year 5
Strategic Business Leader; Strategic Business Reporting

*Level 5 Optional Modules (Choose two of four):

Advanced Audit and Assurance; Advanced Taxation; Advanced Financial Management; Advanced Performance Management

Exit award: MAcc in Accountancy Passed the ACCA Strategic Professional papers

4 Highers at BBBBB including Maths or Accounting.

You must be in (or in the process of looking for) a GA position with an employer. Contact institution for further information.

A Foundation Apprenticeship is accepted as equivalent of a Higher at B.
