The course has been structured to provide students with a background in business operations, technology, project management and entrepreneurship to allow them to seek employment in a wide variety of sectors.

What you will study

Technology skills and knowledge:
Big data and data science; Emerging technologies, cloud computing and mobile technologies; Social media; Cyber resilience; Developing software; User experience design; Relational database management systems and SQL; E-commerce solutions.

Business skills and knowledge:
Business process management; Business communication; Professionalism and ethics; Functional areas of business; Project management methodologies; Financial regulation; Project management; and Statistics for Business.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher plus English and Maths at National 5 (if not held at Higher), or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6. Interview.
