This course will introduce you to essential knowledge and skills required in the business of Fashion. You will undertake projects to engage with the importance of appreciating current trends in order to forecast fashion ranges for new seasons and to inspire target markets.

You will also learn how fashion brands use merchandising techniques to enhance sales on the high street and various market levels.

These essential skills will be supported with industry standard application of digital presentation, the exploration of the history of fashion and a look at how real life has shaped style over the decades.

You will study:
Fashion Forecasting: An Introduction; Fashion: An Introduction; Fashion Merchandising: An Introduction.

Entry Requirements

Subjects at National 5 preferably including Art and Design or Fashion and Textile Technology.
