Ready to launch your dream career in the travel and tourism industry? Your first destination should be this course. It covers key areas, from airfares, ticketing and tour operations to retail travel. Throughout the course, delivered by our highly-qualified and experienced lecturing team, you’ll learn to use the latest reservations systems, including Galileo. You’ll also explore how to interpret flight schedules and provide exceptional customer service. When you finish the course, you’ll have the skills to embark on a travel career, whether that’s as cabin crew, a travel agent, tour operator, or any other travel role.

Tour Guiding and Resort Representation; International Tourist Destinations; Communication: Business Communication; Influences on the Travel and Tourism Industry; Retail Travel Practice; Structure of the Travel and Tourism Industry; Air Travel; Creating a Culture of Customer Care; Using Software Application Packages; Applying Marketing Principles in Travel and Tourism; Preparation for Employment in Travel and Tourism; Airline and Airport Operations; Travel and Tourism: Graded Unit 1.

Entry Requirements

1 relevant Higher, or NQ Travel and Tourism (Level 6), or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.
