Content

This course will give you a good understanding of the computer games industry and the skills you’ll need to be a game developer.

Content includes:

Media asset types in game development; game planning and design; end user expectations; plan and design your own computer game; audio files; animation sequences and character creation; user interfaces; programming skills and concepts; and maths skills for computer games.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 including Maths or Computing Science; or NC Computing (Level 5); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Entry subject to interview.

Progression Routes

Progression on to a relevant HNC course or employment.
