City of Glasgow College is Scotland’s largest technological and professional skills college.
The college has a twin-site super campus, comprising of the stunning City Campus at Cathedral Street and the Riverside Campus at Thistle Street.
The college offers around 1,800 courses across four faculties and is designed to accommodate up to 40,000 students. Up to 8,000 graduates leave the college each year ready for the world of work.
There are over 4,000 international students, typically of 140 different nationalities from across six continents.
Courses and subjects
The college offers courses ranging from NC through to advanced courses at HND and degree level. The college works in partnership with a range of universities throughout the UK to provide opportunities for students to progress with their studies. It has specific links with Glasgow Caledonian and Edinburgh Napier Universities, and the University of the West of Scotland.

Facilities and services
The City Campus boasts modern facilities including: TV, radio and photography studios; commercial hair, beauty and nail salon; professional cookery kitchens; Scholars fine dining restaurant, modern IT facilities and libraries; training aircraft cabin; City Market (including fishmonger, baker and butcher) which is open to the public; a business centre; and, construction and engineering training areas.
The award winning Riverside Campus has a strong emphasis on nautical science, maritime training and engineering. It has Europe’s largest and most advanced shipping simulation hub, a workshop with 20-tonne ship’s engine and a marine skills centre for lifeboat training.
The college has modern IT suites, libraries, social areas, cafes, restaurants and fitness suites throughout each of the campuses.
There is also a Students' Association and Student Support Team providing help with a range of aspects, including funding and learning support.
