The BA Acting course at New College Lanarkshire in collaboration with Queen Margaret University (subject to validation) is aimed at those with excellent acting skills who are looking to become professional actors in theatre, film and television.

You will be provided with a wide range of performance opportunities underpinned by practical training and critical thinking and analysis.

Subjects include:

Advanced Acting skills; Repertoire and Audition Technique; Showcase and Performance Project.

You will have opportunities to work with closely with the industry through a series of workshops, casting events and mock auditions.

Entry Requirements

HND Acting and Performance or HND in related subject. Higher English is strongly recommended. The audition process will involve both practical and academic assessment.

This course prepares you for a career in professional acting or postgraduate level study.
