The BA Honours Acting with Creative Enterprise at New College Lanarkshire, in collaboration with Queen Margaret University (subject to validation) is aimed at students with excellent performance skills who are seeking to become professional performers in theatre, film and television.

You will receive the necessary training to develop the skills and versatility required to meet the vocal, physical and artistic demands required of a modern working performer.

On completion of year one, students can choose to exit with a BA degree in Acting or to continue their studies for a further year receiving the award of BA Honours Acting with Creative Enterprise.

This additional honours year aims to bridge the gap between degree and the students chosen professional context while further developing the skills required to develop a sustainable arts practice and portfolio career. Students will be presented with the opportunity to use their practical and intellectual performance skills in a range of applied theatre contexts while developing the skills required to originate and develop new work.

This one/two-year full-time course enables those with an appropriate further education qualification to further their studies, providing the training you need to pursue a career in performing arts.
