Through practical experience with industry standard equipment, learners will gain insights into the technical aspects of sound design, from capturing audio to the final mix. This knowledge is crucial for careers in music production, providing a foundation for creative expression and technical expertise in the ever-evolving audio industry.

What you will experience:
This course is largely practice based and will give you a grounding in key technical, creative and organisational aspects of the sound production industries; Develop knowledge of the specification, utilisation and deployment of professional audio equipment; Gain the ability to assess and remediate the acoustics of rooms, and operate as freelance professionals within the creative industries.

2 Highers; or Sound Production (Level 6); or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6
