The tourism sector is worth £11 billion to the Scottish economy every year and is a growth industry worldwide. Our HNC graduates are well placed to work within national and international tourism markets.

This course offers a wide cross-section of theoretical and practical skills required by the travel and tourism industry and includes off-campus visits to provide learners with a range of skills and knowledge.

Topics include International Tourism; Marketing; Customer Care; Working as Senior Air Cabin Crew; Tour Guiding and Resort Rep; Sustainability and Retail Travel Practice.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.

Candidates wishing to apply who do not meet the above criteria, but have life skills or relevant experience will be considered after the completion of a successful interview and written test.
