This course offers a wide cross-section of theoretical and practical skills required by the travel and tourism industry and includes off-campus visits to provide learners with a range of skills and knowledge. Topics include International Tourism, Marketing, Customer Care, Airlines, Tour Guiding, Wildlife Tourism, Sustainability and Travel Agency.

Entry Requirements

2 Highers, preferably including English, Modern Studies, Geography or History, or relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 6.

Progression Routes

On successful completion, learners may gain employment within the industry or gain entry to degree programmes at universities throughout Scotland.
