The Professional Chef Award is a unique culinary arts experience that attracts many types of people who want to pursue a career within one of the fastest growing industries in the country. You will develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed for a busy kitchen environment through a mix of college study, including skills training enhanced with an integral in-house work placement within the Food Court, visits to food suppliers, producers and the finest kitchens in the area. This course qualifies for the Student Scholarship programme.
Introduction to the Professional Kitchen (incorporating SVQ Professional Cookery at SCQF Level 4) preferred. Interview and practical test.
