This course is an excellent introductory qualification for those wishing to pursue a career in the fast-paced world of professional cookery. It is structured to develop the skills, knowledge, and understanding you will require to secure employment in the Hospitality Industry.

This course is ideally suited for school leavers who have studied Hospitality, determined or mature students wishing to reskill or pursue a career in professional cookery.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 4; or Professional Cookery (Level 4). Interview.

SVQ Professional Cookery at SCQF Level 6 - subject to interview and skills test
